ORIS Certified Proof provides the ideal QA platform for all your color output, from contract proofs to on-screen “virtual” proofs to final press output. Using simple, handheld spectral measuring devices, the software provides simple, trackable results for every proof you produce. The keys to a good QA system are accuracy and ease of use. ORIS Certified Proof provides both. The system includes test targets and color characterization data for TR001 (SWOP) and FOGRA, and can easily be configured to measure any other standard or specification. The target – a strip containing the critical color patches – is printed in the margin of the contract proof, regardless of what proofing system is used. For each proof, the operator scans the target, and the software does the rest
ORIS Certified Proof is not limited to proofing and spectral color (Lab) values. The software also measures density values, which allows the user to check press sheet quality and control dot gain. In addition, users can also check the quality of monitor calibrations and profiles, by measuring specific colors displayed on screen.
