Warranty Policy For Consumable Products
Effective date: July 1st, 2007
This warranty policy applies to Fujifilm Canada Inc. (Graphic Systems) sold consumable products bearing the Fujifilm, Anchor or Cork labels. Products not specifically stated as covered under this warranty are deemed to have no warranty (or only the warranty as defined by the original manufacturer of the product).
Limited Liability Warranty (Consumable products)
Fujifilm Canada Inc. (Graphic Systems) consumable products are covered by a limited liability warranty from defects in material and workmanship. This warranty does not apply if, in the judgment of Fujifilm Canada Inc., the product fails due to damage from shipment, handling, storage, accident, abuse or misuse, or if it has been used or maintained in a manner not conforming to product's instructions, has been modified in any way, or has defaced or removed product identification information (such as a product label with batch / lot number). Repair or service of the equipment in which the Fujifilm Canada Inc. consumable product is used must be by Fujifilm Canada Inc. or an approved agent. Failure to provide adequate equipment service, as defined by Fujifilm Canada Inc., voids this consumable products warranty. The maximum liability of Fujifilm Canada Inc. is the product purchase price.
Warranty Replacement Procedure (Consumable products)
You must obtain a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number from Customer Support before returning a product. Products returned without an RMA number are not processed and will be returned to you.
1) All product warranty claims must be validated by Fujifilm Canada Inc. (Graphic Systems) Technical Services staff. Contact the Technical Services department by calling 1-800-461-0416. State the nature of problem.
2) A Fujifilm Canada Inc. (Graphic Systems) Technical Services staff member will do troubleshooting to see if the product is defective.
3) If, in the opinion of Fujifilm Canada Inc. (Graphic Systems) Technical Services the product is deemed defective, a Fujifilm Customer Service representative will contact you regarding disposition of the product.
4) At Fujifilm’s option we may elect to issue a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number and arrange for transportation of the product back to a Fujifilm authorized facility. Replacement product will be sent to you or a credit issued (limited to the value of the original purchase price). Credit for the RMA returned product will not be authorized until the product has been validated at the authorized Fujifilm Canada Inc. facility. The returned product must be shipped in its originally issued packing material with product labels intact and legible.
5) Fujifilm may opt to have you dispose of the defective product at your facility. Authorization for this must be EXPLICITLY given by a Fujifilm Canada Inc. (Graphic Systems) Customer Service representative. Such authorization is only valid if issued in writing, fax or email form. No verbal authorization will ever be accepted. Upon such authorization, replacement product will be sent or a credit issued (limited to the value of the original purchase price).
